the ps3 has 256 mb system ram and 256 mb gpu ram... while the xbox360 has the same, it is unified ram, meaning that at any given time the gpu could use all or none of the ram. So when you port.. if in some instances you use 400 mb ram for gpu you'd have to downscale the texture resolutions for the ps3

virtua tennis is being developed by separate studios for each console and there isn't a difference in marvel ultimate alliance (graphically its not super demanding) the other games you list are sony only... unless you mean nba live 07... but nba 07 is SCE
i kind of understand (although the actual gameplay of lair looks too loose to be called innovative) and Eye of Judgement doesn't really seem all that interesting...
I still haven't seen what is innovative in white knight. It's extremely pretty, but until I actually sit down and play it it still looks like an jrpg set in an oblivion-ish world.
Now... innovation and xbox do actually come together... bungie really brought fps to consoles on the original xbox a...
if you read the article... they also mention that the gc zelda will actually be graphically the same as the wii version... also remember that super smash bros melee was a launch title for the gamecube and as such is quite dated

well.. even if they buy the hdd separate... that's still 350... which is less than the premium. I guess with the figurines, the games, and the faceplate definitely make up for it.

these aren't cg, but they are rendered... as in you don't see the jaggies or anything, just like the screens of god of war II... they are captured in game, but then enhanced to do away with pixelation and other things..

This starts out as a good article on the 360's chances in japan and then seems to quickly jump on every negative it can. It even goes so far as to ask why microsoft didn't change the main character in GoW for the japanese audience (ya.. and why didn't they just shoot cliffyb??) The seemed like a moderately good read, and he seems like he really wants blue dragon and lost odyssey to succeed, but not too much. In fact, he simply wants them to push other game developers in the right directio...

Yea, somethings are bad... but there are some good things to the marketplace... episodic content and xbla...not to mention the wealth of free downloads (demos and the what-not) it really is EA (those evil bast4rds) that will screw everyone... most developers probably won't.
can you imagine the premium you'd have to pay because they lost the case?? immersion would want all sorts of royalties on the controllers, that's where some of the "cost" comes from..
when you put in the most expensive processor and most expensive disc drive you have to remove anything that will cost additional money in production (and lawsuits) at the expense of the consumer... remove the shocks from a car but put a bigger engine in and you haven't improved anything
I like seeing how microsoft is expanding to so many areas of the world... and here's why: xbox live is global, so it will expand the user base and give me more people to shoot up online!!
